AirBnB all Reviews

Do this tour. Do not hesitate for a moment. My day with Paolo was one of my favorite days of my whole life. Yeah, my whole life. If you are someone like me, you would have never had the confidence or insight to execute such a beautiful and immersive experience. Even in the middle of December, the region and trip was unforgettable. Not to mention, Paolo’s passion and knowledge of the region really punctuates this experience. You will learn and appreciate Orvieto, Civita di Bagnoregio, and everything in between!... AirBnB all Reviews

This was our first time on E bikes and we thoroughly enjoyed our morning tour of Orvieto. The bikes were great - easy to use and they whizzed us around the city effortlessly. But it was Elena's tour, which was informative, fun and comprehensive which made it such a memorable experience. We stopped at various viewpoints and places around the city and Elena gave us a wonderful insight into the history of this amazing place, as well as her personal recommendations of restaurants and things to do after the tour. Our tour included a visit to 'Orvieto Underground' which was also very interesting. We really didn't want the tour to end! We will definitely take another tour with Orvieto Bike Tours when we are back in Orvieto. I say 'when' and not 'if'; the bike tour alone is the only reason you need to visit Orvieto!...      Paulo was an amazing guide! He met us at the Piazza Cahen and we bikes through the hills of Tuscany, Umbria and on to Civita. Paulo was warm and friendly and gave us much information about the history of Orvieto and Civita. We stopped at a monastery, a castle, had a snack in a small town and then to magical Civita. I’m so glad we did this trip with a guide as we learned so much more than just going on our own. The last stop of our trip was at a family owned winery in Orvieto where we got a tour of the wine room and sampled 2 wines, had local meats and cheeses, pork, potatoes and sweets. This was money well spent and the most favorite part of our trip! The Ebikes were easy to use and made our 6 hour trip and many uphill climbs easy!! Must do trip! Thank you, Paulo!!...      If you do just one tour while you're in Orvieto, make sure it's this one! Paulo brought the bikes to us at our AirBnB (we were lucky enough that this tour ended up just being the two of us!) and we set off towards Civita di Bagnoregio, stopping off at a few places along the way, including a great little bar for coffee, hot chocolate and cake. After visiting Civita we were heading home when the rain came in. We didn't mind it, but Paulo organised for us to be collected in a van as he was (quite rightly) concerned for the risk posed by Italian drivers on the wet roads! Back in Orvieto the tour finished with an amazing late lunch in a kind of degustation-style - local cheeses, wines, crostini, risotto, biscotti etc - absolutely delicious! The whole tour was fantastic from start to finish, with Paulo a generous and informative guide. Highly, highly recommended :)... TripAdvisor all Reviews

I’d highly recommend the bike tour of Orvieto with Paolo! He was very knowledgeable of the area’s history, and it’s clear that history is a passion of his. The bike ride was easy and the city of Orvieto is very beautiful and carries the stories of many different eras in history. The meal at the end was a wonderful way to cap off a meaningful experience. Would highly recommend :)... AirBnB all Reviews

Fun experience riding on ebikes in the evening around town. We stopped at several spots where Paolo spoke about the history of the area. It got dark quickly so it wasn’t great for photos but I enjoyed the information. The time at Cantini Foresi was very nice with wine and food. Getting a peek at their ancient wine cellar was a special treat.... AirBnB all Reviews
